Marine

Delivering a baby at home is a reassuring choice for Marine.

A French artist living in Soho, she experienced a miscarriage a few years ago, and since then, fears the cold environment of the hospital. She questions the medical system in general, and fears in particular the over-medicalization of child delivery as practiced in New York City hospitals.

She is a “homebody,” as she likes to call herself, she enjoys being at home.

She lives with her American husband, David, and sometimes with her stepson, Eli, but without any family support otherwise.
